The New York based designer graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Fashion Design where she interned with major designers such as Michael Kors and  Jill Stuart. After she graduated Samantha Black relocated to London where she worked for the late Alexander McQueen. Once returning back to the U.S. she held the position of head designer of  Jimmyz  of the entire women’s denim line. She now creates dope and innovative pieces for Sammy B. Designs.Her pieces have been featured on major celebs such as Keri Hilson and featured in publications as Jones Magazine.
