Styleaholic Designer Review: MissBruno
MissBruno is an eclectic and funky clothing line which was created for sustainable living. The diverse collection is based off the philosophy of a lush, holistic and simple life. MissBruno was first started by the Brooklyn based designers, Marjory and Shirley Bruno. The creative line first made its debut in August 2006, which featured their dynamic dresses and bloomers. The following year the “so called scarf” collection” debuted in December 2007.
The Bruno sisters have a beautiful collection as well as beautiful hearts. Due to the devastation of Haiti’s earthquake they currently are searching for a missing family member, Misva Seignon. They also have located other family members in open-air camps who still need basic aid. MissBruno/LakouNou are now raising funds to send food, water and supplies and resources to relocate their family from Haiti to the US/Canada. They will be selling t-shirts on their site and will also be auctioning off one-of-a kind pieces to raise money. Not only look great but support the cause!
