Kissed By Rain is one of those collections that constinously promise great pieces.

From head designer, Rain King’s first collection to her recent fourth collection – the evolution of style that she portrays within her clothing brings fashion to its highest heights.

Being a Styleaholic veteran, I got a chance to catch up with Rain to get an insiders look at the Kissed By Rain world.

Q: When was Kissed by Rain created?

A: Kissed by Rain was created in the fall of 06 in the basement of my house. It was idea for so long I decided not to sit on it any longer, take a chance and roll with it.

Q: What inspired you to start Kissed by Rain?

A: I always wanted to design since I was a little girl. I know that’s every ones line, but I can really do it. Its happening and there is no turning back. It was something where fashion and me taking a different path than the norm of everyone else. Kissed by Rain screams different, ronic, and busting down doors for everyone who has a dream.

Q: What do your collections consist of?

A: My first and second collection consisted of our staple hoodie but it got brighter as we kept pushing forward. As we prepare for our 4th season the line looks ever more girly but edgy where most of my inspiration has come from Pirates of the Caribbean. The clothing tells a story and I love reading it to others!

Q: What kind of brand would you consider your line?

A: My clothing line is considered ready to wear, because a lot of the pieces take very little effort to put the look together.

Q: Where do you see your collection going in the future?

A: The collection is definitely going to move with a brand new web site, tons of collabos, and if gods see it fit a boutique. ‘09 is the year to get Kissed!
